NETWORKING

(½ day)

This interactive networking workshop:

  • provides insight into networks and how to make them work for you, as well as tools and techniques to tap into network opportunities effectively

  • considers aspects such as how to build strong networks, the secrets of successful networking and which networking activities are worthwhile (and which are not…)

Participants will also consider how to prepare for a networking event as well as ‘networking etiquette’.

 

RESILIENCE & WELLBEING: MANAGING YOUR ENERGY FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE

An interactive focus on the individual - and their role as leader of others - including:

  • Understanding external and internal pressures

  • Understanding the neuroscience

  • Staying the safe side of the ‘stress curve’

EFFECTIVE DELEGATION & ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS

Efficiency and effective delegation are inextricably linked. In this interactive training session, we explore:

  • the challenges surrounding delegation

  • why we need to delegate

  • the delegation spectrum and

  • ‘rules and pointers’ for overcoming the challenges.

We also examine the underlying reasons for being overly busy and work through strategies for:

  • overcoming overwhelm

  • honing our organisational skills and

  • setting ourselves up for optimum efficiency.

 

UNDERSTANDING BARRIERS TO SUCCESS

(½ day or 1 day)

What might be getting in the way of success in our career? In this interactive workshop, we identify possible barriers to success and focus on strategies, tools and techniques to help us conquer those barriers. Examples include:

  • Self-confidence and self-esteem

In this interactive workshop, we identify why conversations are seen as ‘difficult’ or ‘challenging’ and explore how to move forward with a positive mindset, equipped to become a better communicator. Matters covered include:

TEAMS

 

MBTI TEAM TRAINING

(½ day)

[Myers Briggs Type Indicator]

Following completion of an online MBTI questionnaire, this workshop is a facilitated team session to raise team motivation and understanding. The MBTI questionnaire identifies a range of personality types which are invaluable for understanding team dynamics and relationships including how each team member takes in information, makes decisions and communicates. The workshop focusses on supporting the team in exploring their MBTI preferences, brought to life through interactive – and fun – exercises along with the construction of individual and team plans for putting the MBTI learning into practice and ensuring that team interactions are optimised going forward.
